COURSE OBJECTIVES:

The objectives of this course are

To impart knowledge on different concepts of Environmental Impact Assessment

2

To know procedures of risk assessment 

3

To learn the EIA methodologies and the criterion for selection of EIA methods 

4

To pre-requisites for ISO 14001 certification

5

To know the procedures for environmental clearances and audit

6.

To appreciate the importance of stakeholder participation in EIA

Factual: Factual knowledge consist basic information about a particular subject or discipline that students must be acquired with. This may include the terminology and the specific details or elements of a subject.

Conceptual: Conceptual knowledge consists of knowledge of, or understanding of concepts, principles, theories, models, classifications, etc. We learn conceptual knowledge through reading, viewing, listening, experiencing, or thoughtful, reflective mental activity.
